Leveraging Technology For Human Rights: The Role of Digital Investigations in Ukraine
How are human rights violations and war crimes verified during a conflict, and utilized in the effort to hold perpetrators accountable? Join us at the Computer History Museum to learn how Human Rights Watch is leveraging evolving digital tools in Ukraine to answer these questions. Together, we’ll hear directly from human rights researchers and technology experts (see bios below) on how they work in partnership during crises and conflicts.
Our evening will begin at 5:30pm with an outdoor cocktail reception to gather and celebrate, followed by the indoor program at 6:30pm where masks will be highly encouraged. We’ll end the night with food and drinks outdoors after the program. Be sure to get your tickets before we sell out!
Tickets are $250 per person and are on sale here; this helps us cover the cost of the venue, catering, and bringing our panelists out to the Bay Area. Please note that this event is not a fundraiser.
