Katherine is a coordinator at Human Rights Watch, supporting the Children's Rights Division and the organization's work on sport and human rights.
Before joining Human Rights Watch, Katherine coordinated a New York-based health and human rights program supporting asylum seekers, including unaccompanied children. She has also been involved in programmatic work and research in Ghana, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico on issues related to migration, access to health care, and sexual and reproductive health. She received her master's degree in global health from New York University. She speaks English and Spanish, and is proficient in French.
