Joya Fadel
Senior Associate, Children's Rights, Disability Rights
Joya is a Senior Associate supporting the work of the Children’s Rights Division and the Disability Rights Division. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she interned at a Syrian human rights NGO where she supported communications and advocacy projects relating to international human rights law and UN human rights mechanisms. She also worked for the Middle East Center of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and has published an article on populism in foreign policy discourse.
Joya holds a Master’s in International Public Management from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (also known as ‘Sciences Po’).
